It details a lot of the places and events to shoot in Richmond. Nick has grown up in the television industry. As a teenager, he realized making TV is more fun than watching it and found his first home at WLBT in Jackson, Mississippi. He worked summers and weekends shooting anything they would let a 16-year-old kid get his eye on. Choosing a great photojournalism program over SEC football games and sweet tea, Nick headed up “north”to the University of Missouri School of Journalism. While at Mizzou, Nick was a photographer at KOMU-TV, photo editor for VOX Magazine, reporter for the Columbia Missourian, and worked abroad in London, England in a commercial photography studio. He completed his B.S. in Photojournalism and went to work shooting at WIS in Columbia, South Carolina. While working at the WIS, Nick covered stories from coast to coast, as well as in Germany. At WIS he received the Edward R. Murrow award for best news series, won the National Press Photographer’s Foundation TV Workshop award and attended the Poyntner Institute. After studying under the successful Apprenticeship Program, Nick calls Richmond, Virginia home and has worked for every major network including ABC News, Fox Sports, ESPN, HGTV as well as commercial and corporate clients.
