EPK (Electronic Press Kits) / Behind the Scenes
Go To Team’s expertise in shooting video for EPK or Electronic Press Kits shows in every project we take on. Each of our crews has shot behind the scenes of feature films, television shows and large commercials. Our crews understand the politics of large film sets and how to get the shot without getting in the shot.
Our crews have traveled extensively working with different long-term projects and understand the standby process involved with shooting large projects.
Please see the projects below for a couple of examples of the projects that we have worked on recently.
Often times combining the talents of several of our video crews can save the client travel costs. For instance, when “The Patriot” was shooting in both Rock Hill, North Carolina and Charleston, SC we were able to provide a local crew in both places. Additionally, “Cold Mountain” utilized both the cityscapes of Charleston, South Carolina and the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina.
Many of our markets are especially suited for EPK and Entertainment Production.
Our Orlando, Florida office is located on the back lot of Universal Studios and sees Behind the Scenes production work constantly. From a concert featuring an American Idol, to a photo shoot with an America’s Next Top Model finalist to commercials featuring Tiger Woods’… major productions are going on in Orlando all the time.
In Charleston, South Carolina being closely located to Wilmington, North Carolina also allows us to take advantage of the multitude of projects that call ScreenGem studios home. Often times we’ve shot on one day assignments for “Dawson’s Creek” or “One Tree Hill”… these television projects rarely need the extensive coverage as a feature film, but still require the great lighting Go To Team DP’s can bring to the “press junket interview”.
Several corporate clients have required “behind the scenes” video of large film projects as well. When UPS launched Dale Jarrett as their newest NASCAR driver in Charlotte, North Carolina, we shot footage of the entire process… from getting new car decals to the finished “brown truck” commercial. This EPK footage was then sent to local news stations and entertainment programs when the new driver’s line-up was made official.
With any great production our goal is to capture the best footage, set-up the best lighting, and be as transparent to the production set as possible.
